Cielda Pereira shot into fame after the konkani movie ‘Nachom-ia Kumpasar’. The "VOICE OF BETALBATIM" in 2013 Cielda has work hard with dedication due to which she has been on the road to success.
Cielda started singing a young age in Church Choir along with her mother Mrs. Joanita Pereira. As a cheerful and humble youth Cielda has her own bunch of fans across ages who listen to her with awe whenever she steps on the stage much to the delight of the crowd.
A budding star bloomed in the garden of Betalbatim. Once a sleepy little village that has given Goa , quite a bunch of talented musicians, sportsmen, tiatrists has in recent times. A new generation of talent has emerged due to which villagers in Betalbatim will be witnessing a change for the good in the field of music.

Cielda was judged as Voice of Chowgule in 2011 and 2012. She was Goan Vocalist in the year 2012. The year 2013 saw Cielda Pereira grab the 1st place in 18th GOA YUVA MAHOTSAV, Winner in VOICE OF BETALBATIM and runners up of Kingfisher Voice of Goa.
The year 2014 unfolded a surprise as there was a shower of awards . Cielda Pereira was declared as Goencho Avaz in the 1st Edition organised by Heraldo. Konkani movie Nachom ia Kumpasar saw Cielda as a playback singer followed by movie Nirmonn. Cielda Pereira scored a hat trick as playback singer in the Konkani International action film " Noshaa".
At the 8th Edition of Goa State Film Festival (2014- 2015) Cielda grabbed the best playback singer (female). She has being playing the guitar since young, besides playing Keyboard at the Church Choir. Cielda Pereira has featured in some konkani albums. A simple girl that still sings in the church Choir has a bright future. The best is yet to come for sure , maybe launch of her own album in the near future.
